There are several different types of water heaters available for both residential and commercial use. One of the most popular types is a traditional tank water heater. This type of water heater has a tank filled with water up to a certain capacity, and the heater keeps that water warm at all times. It then delivers that water to the faucet when it is turned on. These are also sometimes called storage water heaters because they store the heated water rather than heating it on demand.
Tankless water heaters, on the other hand, heat water on demand. While tankless water heaters have become more popular over time because they are smaller, they are usually more expensive than traditional water heaters and are primarily suitable for small homes.
